ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW: To create a political cartoon aimed at critiquing (R) Donald Trump, his presidency during his first term and the people he associates with. Please note that I am aware that this illustration may offend some people as, of course, we all have differing views on religion, personal values, morals as well as politics. These are key components that shape how we interact with the world around us as well as in our society too. However, on a personal note, I feel that it is important to keep in mind that, as a professional creative, I feel that I must be able to express my own personal beliefs and opinions on matters I'm passionate about, whether that be referring to social issues, humanitarian crises across international boarders, government policies such as people's reproductive rights, the healthcare system, etc. This project was, in no way, meant to offend the opposite party. But is my general observation on Trump's previous presidency and his aversion to answering questions regarding political support from Christian conservative republican white supremacist neo-nazi supporters and pro-fascist ideologies.
